Acceptance

cited.co (the "Site") is operated by Hungry Monster, Inc. ("Hungry Monster", "Cited", "we", "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Hungry Monster, Inc. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

What Cited is

Cited is a free, informational index of recommendations that experts make in public podcasts, talks, and interviews. Entries are automatically extracted by AI from public sources and are not editorially verified. They may contain errors — including misattribution, misquotation, and incorrect doses or details.

A recommendation appearing on Cited means an expert is reported to have said it. It does not mean it is accurate, that it is right for you, or that Cited endorses it.

Not professional advice

Nothing on Cited is medical, health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and using the Site does not create any professional relationship. Health and longevity topics in particular can carry real risk. Always consult a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here, and never disregard professional advice because of something on the Site.

Use of the Site

You may use Cited for personal, non-commercial reference. You agree not to:

  • scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the Site or use automated means to overload it;
  • copy or republish substantial portions of the index as your own;
  • use the Site to break the law or infringe others' rights; or
  • interfere with the Site's operation or security.

Intellectual property & sources

Quotes and underlying recommendations belong to the experts and publishers who created them; Cited quotes briefly and links back to the original source rather than republishing transcripts. The selection, arrangement, structure, and presentation of the index — and the Site's design and text — are owned by Hungry Monster, Inc. If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, contact us (see below) and we'll respond; see also our corrections process.

Third-party links

The Site links to external sources and websites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

"As is", no warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any recommendation is correct.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hungry Monster, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or reliance on — the Site or its content. Because Cited is provided free of charge, this limitation applies broadly.

Changes

We may change the Site or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms; the "last updated" date above will reflect revisions.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be subject to the courts located in California.
